Terms of Reference: Call for Consultancy for financial capacity building of grantees

Restless Development Uganda is seeking a consultant to provide financial capacity building support to 15 youth-led organizations (grantees) under the Third-Party Funding Mechanism. The consultant will review grantee due diligence forms, develop a training schedule, and deliver tailored capacity building training to strengthen financial management systems and address identified due diligence gaps.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA/ACCA preferred)
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial management, specifically with EU-funded projects or international NGOs
• Demonstrated experience in providing capacity-building support to grassroots or national-level organizations in Africa
• Strong understanding of financial compliance, internal controls, and risk management with an experience of undertaking past assignments
• In-depth understanding of processes and systems
• Change management skills and experience
• Experience with working with youth-led NGOs/Civil society
• Familiar with youth-led programming
