Job Description
Retina Associates of Orange County is seeking a team-oriented ophthalmic technician to support their ophthalmology practice. The role involves pretesting, assisting in minor procedures, utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and providing excellent patient care within a fast-paced environment. The position is located in Orange County, CA.
Requirements
- Ability to complete thorough medical histories in an EMR system
- Ability to measure accurate Visual Acuity and IOP
- Ability to use an OCT machine
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records system
- Visual Field assessments
- Terminology and uses of ophthalmic medications
- Ability to interact with patients
- Cleans and stocks reception and waiting lobby
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work as a team
- Typing 60+ WPM
- Bilingual skills (English/Vietnamese, English/Korean, or English/Spanish)
