Procurement Specialist

Role Overview

Coordinates activities involved with purchasing and planning of goods, services, and commodities of strategic importance to Revvity. Plans and procures OEM or manufactured products for responsible product portfolio. Maintains forecast performance, stock levels at local and international forward stocking sites.

What You Will Do

Utilize ERP system to develop near-term and long-term production plans. Purchase materials following business guidelines. Maintain vendor masters and performance metrics for existing suppliers and evaluate new suppliers. Review purchase requisitions and ERP output for appropriate information and approvals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university
• 1-3 years related experience and or training
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and purchase specifications
• Ability to effectively present information, and respond to inquiries from management, suppliers, and customers
• Highly effective time management skills
• Commitment to customer excellence with demonstrated ethics and integrity
• Ability to operate independently and as part of a team
