Job Description
RhynoCare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work in Long Term Care facilities in Barrie, ON. The NP will provide comprehensive primary health care to residents, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support resident safety, quality of life, and continuity of care.
Requirements
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in the Extended Class (Primary Health Care or Adult) and entitled to practice.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) required.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with Nurse Practitioner specialization preferred.
- One (1) year of clinical experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, or Long-Term Care nursing preferred.
- Availability to work on-site, including flexibility for evenings, weekends, and on-call coverage.
- Working knowledge of applicable Long-Term Care legislation, regulations, and standards of practice.
- Requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and reaching.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with frequent lifting or carrying of up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to manage physical and emotional demands in a fast-paced clinical environment.
