Senior Accountant

Role Overview

As a Senior Accountant in our accounting team, you will take on a key role and actively contribute to the efficiency, compliance, and digitization of our financial processes in the DACH region. You will optimize processes, participate in project automation, standardization, digitization, and efficiency improvement in accounting, and ensure compliance with tax and legal regulations.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, analysis of financial data, creation of reports for management, and support in budget planning and forecasting.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We are looking for a candidate with several years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment, and comprehensive knowledge of HGB and IFRS. You should have secure handling of ERP systems and MS Excel, analytical thinking, and a high level of detail accuracy.

Requirements

• Completed studies in business administration, accounting, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of HGB and IFRS
• Secure handling of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Excel
• Analytical thinking, structured working method, and high level of detail accuracy
• Teamwork and communication skills in German (at least level C) and English (at least level B)
