Certified English Teacher

Richard Milburn Academy seeks a High School English Teacher for the 2026/2027 School Year. The teacher will help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, knowledgeable, and responsible men and women.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
• Valid teacher certification in grade level and subject area appropriate for the particular assignment
• Prior experience or formal training in working with 'at-risk' students
• Ability to work in a polite and friendly manner with a variety of constituencies
• Ability to effectively educate and manage students from varying backgrounds and socio-economic levels
