Job Description
Peak Utility Infrastructure is seeking a Backhoe Operator to operate heavy equipment, navigate safety regulations, and perform mid-level laborer functions on utility construction sites.
Requirements
- Operates, maneuvers, and navigates heavy equipment (backhoes)
- Inspects equipment, structures, or materials to identify errors or problems
- Provides mid-level laborer functions, including hand digging and setting up traffic control
- Proficient with utility print and map reading
- Meets company and customer specifications for all trench or backhoe jobs
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods
- Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions
- Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team
