Rimes is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Database Engineer to join their global Technology team. The role will involve technical leadership, infrastructure and cloud project management, and support for SQL and database platforms. The successful candidate will have experience with Microsoft Azure, VMware, and Windows Server, as well as expertise in infrastructure as code and leading technical projects.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of SQL environments and data platform infrastructure
- Strong experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments (cloud and on-premise)
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, including core infrastructure services
- In-depth experience of VMware virtualisation and enterprise infrastructure platforms
- Strong understanding of Windows Server and core services
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code
- Proven experience leading technical projects and leading architectural decisions
