Riverdale Country School is seeking a substitute teacher for its Infant Toddler Center. The center provides care for children aged 3-35 months, and the substitute teacher will be responsible for building relationships with the children, providing comfort and security, and helping to develop and implement emergent curriculum. The ideal candidate will be patient, love children, and have a great sense of humor.
Requirements
- High School diploma and some coursework in Early Childhood Education
- AA in Early Childhood Education or CDA preferred
- Experience with infants and toddlers in mixed-age grouping
- Up-to-date physical and vaccination record
- Successful background check and fingerprint report
