Middle School Science Teacher

Riverdale Country School seeks a Middle School Science Teacher with expertise in Upper School Psychology and experience in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, collaborative, and committed to developing citizen scientists. The teacher will be responsible for developing curriculum, leading activities, and participating in the life of the school community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in the sciences
• At least 3 years of experience teaching at the Middle and Upper School level
• Ability to engage students in inquiry-based practices through laboratory work, projects, and hands-on activities
• Strong commitment to student support and ongoing professional growth
• Experience with differentiated instruction, UDL, and interdisciplinary teaching
