Job Description
The Behavioral Health Para-Professional (BHPP) is an entry-level position supporting Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) within a residential setting. BHPPs will assist clients with daily living activities, providing supervision in crisis situations, and coordinating treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team. This role focuses on safety, therapeutic environment enhancement, and providing supportive services to clients in recovery.
Requirements
- Provide care to clients in a manner that promotes safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Understand and follow safety procedures.
- Monitor activities and groups.
- Provide transportation for appointments.
- Maintain client records.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
- CPI Certification.
- TB Test (within 12 months)
- Fingerprint Clearance Card.
