Collection Paralegal

The Collection Paralegal will assist Attorneys, Litigation Paralegals and Collection Assistants with the firm's homeowner's association practice, preparing demand letters, reviewing and finalizing payment arrangements, and billing work products.

Requirements

• Prepare initial and final demand letters
• Review and finalize payment arrangements
• Assist in negotiating payment plans
• Update account information
• Prepare billing for work products
• Coordinate with Collection Assistant, Litigation Paralegal, Bankruptcy Department, and Probate Department
• Perform general research
• Prepare file for lawsuit
• Determine Amounts Due
• Prepare default letters
• Process payments
• Forward payments and correspondence to Association
