FURNACE OPERATOR- 2ND SHIFT

Operate and monitor induction furnaces, maintain chemistry and temperatures, and perform manual lifting up to 50 pounds. Adjustments are made based on results and all information is recorded.

Requirements

• Develop working knowledge of the entire Melt Department.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to provide direction to the Melt Team.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Ability to work in high heat environment which includes molten metal.
• Ability to understand and follow all safety procedures and requirements.
• Ability to understand and complete required training including forklift and crane operation training.
