Job Description
Rocketship Public Schools is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide support to students, families, and staff in the diverse setting of multiple school sites across California. This role involves providing direct and indirect therapy, participating in IEP meetings, and collaborating with various school personnel to improve student learning and development. The organization focuses on transforming underserved communities and leveraging the power of education.
Requirements
- Must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited four-year college or university
- Have a valid California Board of Occupational Therapy proficiency license
- Experience working with elementary-age students (preferred) and students with a range of disabilities (learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, autism, etc.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Possess a valid driver’s license
