CNC Operator 2nd Shift

Reviews work orders, blueprints and/or drawings, specifications or setup instructions to determine dimensional specifications, setup requirements, materials required & work procedures. Installs proper cutting tools and workpiece holders, lifts raw materials, edits programs, monitors machine operations, uses precision measuring instruments, and maintains cleanliness & functionality of machines, tools, parts & work areas. Provides guidance and general oversight of CNC I operator(s) and troubleshoots advanced issues arising on CNC machines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 2-3 years CNC operations experience
• HAAS and Fidal CNC Machines experience
• SolidWorks, G-code & Master CAM software experience (highly preferred)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read technical drawings & schematics
• Demonstrated mechanical skills
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions within one’s own judgment
• 2D & 3D programming skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with minimal supervision
