Field Service Technician - Power Generation

Role Overview

Perform preventative maintenance, start-ups, and repairs on generators; including automatic transfer switches, diesel, and gaseous engines. Promote safe and efficient operation of duties. Travel required.

What You Will Do

Service, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul engines, genset systems and their electronic and mechanical systems. Lead on-site work, maintain active list of project timelines and prioritize job tasks.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Strong knowledge of electronics and ability to read blue prints and electronic schematics. Ability to lift, push, pull weights in the 20-60 lb. range. Ability to travel 60-80% on short notice international and domestic.

Requirements

• 2 years mechanical or technical trade school and 3 years field service with mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience; or 5 years field service experience.
