At Roofr, we're looking for an Engineering Team Lead to oversee the application foundation for our AI Platform team, establishing the integration architecture and core abstractions for AI at Roofr.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years in a technical leadership role
- Practical experience building production AI systems
- Deep familiarity with LLM APIs and agent frameworks
- Experience building evaluation pipelines and quality benchmarks for LLM-powered systems
- Strong background in integration architecture
- Experience building data pipelines that feed AI systems
- Backend engineering depth with a track record of building systems that scale
- Proven ability to take ownership and think beyond individual tasks
- Strong communication skills
