As the leading end-to-end investment platform for single-family rental homes, Roofstock is looking for an analytical and experienced Asset Manager to join the Asset Management team. The Asset Manager will optimize the portfolios of investors, provide insights on operational performance, and lead regional market meetings to drive performance. The role involves working with internal data teams, developing ad-hoc reports, and monitoring market and investor performance trends.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of asset management experience of multifamily or SFR properties
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent relevant experience required
- Extreme attention to detail with organizational, time management and follow-up skills
- Highly analytical, with strong quantitative skills and mathematical aptitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel financial modeling leveraging large datasets
- Experience building ad hoc KPI reports to derive actionable insights
- Strong negotiation skills and an ability to interface with high-level institutional investors
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bias toward action; self-driven and intrinsically motivated with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- High degree of comfort with change, technology and ambiguity
- Experience working in a high-tempo, high-growth, team-oriented organization
