
Job description
The HSE Manager I is a mid-level professional safety position that leads the implementation of Project Safety Plans and oversees health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices. The role involves mentoring junior team members and collaborating with field leadership, subcontractors, and customers to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Identify and recommend corrective actions for hazardous conditions, deliver safety training, lead injury and incident investigations, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will have a 4-year related degree and 4 years of related experience, or 7 years of relevant experience, and CHST certification. They will be able to spend 80% of their working time on active construction sites and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
