
Job description
The Procurement Team Lead will manage a work group responsible for the procurement of engineered equipment, commodities, permanent plant materials, and small tools and supplies. This position is a 'working manager' role that will execute contractual obligations while providing oversight, support, and mentorship to Procurement Agents and Sr. Procurement Agents.
Monitor, evaluate, and mentor working team on meeting or exceeding performance goals and expectations. Ensure team is complying with procurement policies and procedures and is in strict adherence to documentation requirements. Oversee and plan all aspects of procurement from pre-bid closeout.
Must exhibit supervisory skills and demonstrate the ability to mentor Procurement Agents and Sr. Procurement Agents. Must be able to work with supervision. Proficient in MS Office and able to adapt to and support ongoing process improvement initiatives.
