
Job description
Work as a Tooling Technician 1 in Washington State Operations, operating Tool Room equipment, including layout and assembly in accordance with engineering specifications. Construct, repair, maintain, and calibrate shop tools, jigs, fixtures, instruments, patterns, core boxes, machine and equipment parts, furniture, and shipping containers.
Use pattern maker hand tools and precision measuring instruments skillfully, assemble, construct, and repair metal, wood, and epoxy tools, jigs, fixtures, master patterns, and core boxes, and maintain equipment and working area in a clean and orderly condition.
Must be 18 years of age or older, have hand-held power tools experience, mechanical ability, and be able to quickly switch between projects and skill sets as priorities are identified.
