RTX Corporation is seeking a Manager, Product Sourcing to join its Electronics Commodity team. The successful candidate will develop a strategic plan for a commodity and supply base, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and negotiate long-term agreements with suppliers.
Requirements
- Develops a strategic plan for a commodity and supply base
- Collaborates with multiple business units to execute Supply Chain strategies
- Owns and responsible for relationship with multiple strategic suppliers
- Evaluates and selects supplier alignment based on price competitiveness, capability, quality, reliability (TCO)
- Analyzes data and information to determine reasonable prices.
- Negotiates and executes long term agreements with supply base that aligns with commodity strategy and internal stakeholders needs
- Leads sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature
- Works with limited oversight from leadership
- Manages several projects at one time with a variety of complexity
- Clearly communicate commodity or project status to leadership
- Ability to identify and pursue VA/VE opportunities through collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Lead change management or work transfer projects for cost savings or better alignment with supply base
- Influence and support Collins strategic initiatives and change management projects
