Plasma Etch Engineer

Plasma Etch Engineer position at Raytheon. Support current low-volume high-mix production with on-site responsiveness to factory equipment, process, materials, and product problems. Develop and execute new product builds, ensure processes meet product quality requirements, and conduct process improvement projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• 2 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience in plasma etch processes and equipment
• Manufacturing experience with surface mount technology (SMT) and microelectronics and automated assembly equipment
• Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) techniques
• J-STD-001, MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38534, and IPC standards familiarity
• Technical writing experience for operator instructions, process and/or material qualification reports, equipment vendor statement of works, etc.
