Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join their Military Avionics Flight Management Applications department in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The team is comprised of cross-functional engineers working in an AGILE environment, focused on the design and development of software-only products. The engineer will support fixed and rotary wing platforms, leading technical decisions and maintaining a diverse product line portfolio and customer contracts.
Develop software for fixed and rotary winged platforms, provide mentorship and guidance to other team members, implement and verify updates to flight management software, and communicate plans and status to team members and stakeholders.
