Requirements
- Develop test equipment based on system level performance requirements.
- Design test stations for production factories, customer sites, and engineering needs.
- Build and maintain optical test stations throughout the factory supporting multiple programs.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Experience designing optical systems, components, and test stations.
- Experience building, aligning, testing, calibrating, and maintaining optical systems.
- Develop requirements and requirements flow down to sub-assemblies.
- Experience with Optical Design software such as ZEMAX or Code5.
- Experience with CREO or other AutoCAD programs.
- Experience with optical metrology standards and processes.
- Experience designing and maintaining test equipment.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
