Bulk Carrier Representative

Role Overview

As a Specialist, Carrier Procurement at RXO, you will source, negotiate, and secure carriers to move available freight in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will cultivate strong core bulk carrier relationships, maintain continuous communication with carriers and customers, and ensure a high-quality freight movement process.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day will involve negotiating and securing carriers, scheduling pickup and delivery appointment times, and ensuring all parties are informed of route changes, delays, or other issues. You will also conduct research, make cold calls, and track back-end billing and invoicing.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We're looking for someone with 2 years of bulk transportation experience, preferably with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. You'll need to exercise judgment and discretion while functioning independently within authorized limits.

Requirements

• 2 years of bulk transportation experience (Tank Truck, Pneumatic and ISO's)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 3 years of transportation experience
• 2 years of sales or customer service experience
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion while functioning independently within authorized limits
