Process Engineer

Role Overview

S&B is seeking a Process Engineer to support our Greenville, SC team. The role requires a fully competent Process Engineer with independent judgment to evaluate, select, and adapt standard process engineering methods and procedures. The successful candidate will contribute to the success of our projects and showcase their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.

What You Will Do

Meet with clients' technical staff to develop acceptable processes and control features, conduct field trips to gather operating data and equipment information, prepare equipment specifications, communicate process design to clients and other design disciplines, and participate in process safety reviews.

They will have a minimum of 10-20 years' experience in Process/Design Engineering or a related functional area, with considerable experience in utilizing various computer software packages and automated engineering and design tools.

Requirements

• Normally requires at least a four-year degree in Chemical Engineering and or Pulp and Paper Engineering
• Requires a minimum of 10-20 years' experience in Process/Design Engineering or related functional area (or equivalent working knowledge/experience)
• Registration as a licensed professional engineer is highly preferred (or be willing to obtain registration)
• Design engineering experience with various computer software packages and automated engineering and design tools
