After School Program Instructor

Role Overview

The After-School Program Instructor will facilitate activities for students in a structured and supportive environment, providing high quality programming to youth and their families.

What You Will Do

Develop and instruct enrichment activities, ensure program safety, and prepare students for performances or presentations.

Requirements

• Demonstrated children and youth instructions and facilitation experience
• Ability to work with children, youth, families, and staff from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities
• Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply
• Classroom management skills
• Ability to develop and implement weekly lesson plans
• Strong Communication skills
• Demonstrated experience working on a team
• Experience using Microsoft Offices and Google Suites
• High School Diploma
• At least 48 semester units from an accredited college or passing grade on Instructional Aid
• Clearance of TB test and background (fingerprint) check
