Job description
Join Safe Passages as an AmeriCorps Elev8 Member to support K-12 students in building confidence, resilience, and social emotional learning. Members will serve at school sites in Oakland and Emeryville, providing tutoring and mentoring to students in Reading, Writing, and Math.
Provide tutoring and education to K-12 students, build meaningful connections with students, lead creative lesson plans, and collaborate with staff and other AmeriCorps members.
This role is a great fit for compassionate and motivated individuals who are passionate about working with youth and making a difference. No previous teaching experience is necessary.
