
Job description
The Payroll Manager is a key leader in the Fiscal Team, responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and tax obligations, supervising the payroll team, and maintaining accurate payroll records. The role involves managing payroll operations, resolving payroll errors, and ensuring agency compliance with data privacy, IRS, FLSA, and state regulations.
Manage payroll operations, process weekly, semi-monthly, and off-cycle pay runs, ensure agency compliance with data privacy, IRS, FLSA, and state regulations, and resolve payroll errors.
The Payroll Manager will work closely with the Executive Management Team, Human Resources, Hiring Managers, and recruiting team to maintain and enhance payroll & benefits operations. The role requires expertise in UKG, experience in administration, finance, accounting, or human resources, and prior experience with supervision, management, coaching, or human resources is a plus.
