As Compliance Officer at Safello, you will drive our compliance function across a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. You will be the go-to expert on AML/CTF and MiCA related matters, ensuring our operations meet regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Master of Laws degree
- 5+ years of experience from compliance- or legal roles within a fintech company or other regulated financial services in Sweden
- Experience implementing AML/CTF and sanctions frameworks, as well as relevant financial regulation such as MiFID or PSD2, is a requirement. Experience with MiCA, crypto-assets, and MAR is an advantage.
- Commercially minded — you understand that compliance enables business, not just constrains it
- Able to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear advice for technical and non-technical teams
- Proactive and self-driven; you identify gaps and quickly drive to fix them
- Fluent in Swedish and English — Swedish is a requirement for this role
