The Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing and maintaining efficient, safe, and cost-effective poultry processing operations, improving production processes, and ensuring product quality and food safety standards.
Requirements
- Monitor and analyze processing operations to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP, sanitation standards).
- Optimize equipment performance, line balance, and process flow to maximize yield and minimize waste.
- Work closely with production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to resolve process issues.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and cost-reduction projects.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for processing activities.
- Support new product or process implementation and scale-up activities.
