Athletic Grounds Specialist

The Athletic Grounds Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the athletic fields and parks in Sarasota County, including applying chemicals, performing maintenance duties, and conducting inspections. The position requires a high school diploma and two years of experience in chemical application, athletic field maintenance, or renovation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• Two (2) years of experience with chemical application, athletic field maintenance and/or renovation
• Obtain a Turf and Ornamental Spray License within six months at time of hire
• Valid Florida driver's license at time of hire
