Job Description
The Public Utilities Department is seeking multiple skilled trades workers for the field operations division. Long-term growth opportunities are available in wastewater operations. Benefits and a generous pension plan are offered. CDL is paid for by the county. Trainees can earn up to $18.09/hour, while technicians can start at $20.10/hour with potential for higher pay with experience. Two years of experience are required for technicians. Physical demands include lifting over 50 pounds and respirator fit testing.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- State of Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class "A" with Tanker "N" endorsement
- Two (2) years of related experience in operations, maintenance, and construction
