Assistant Project Manager- Mission Critical

Sargent Electric Company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the effective planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Champion Safety Culture and lead by example in upholding safety standards
• Support project leadership in the development, monitoring, and updating of project schedules, budgets, and job cost reports
• Maintain strict adherence to project document control processes
• Process submittals and RFI responses to support fabrication and field production activities
• Assist with purchase orders, subcontract coordination, material tracking, and delivery logistics
• Interface with field teams to support planning, execution, and problem-solving
• Support the identification, documentation, and tracking of changes, risks, and delays
• Assist with invoice review, cost tracking, forecasting inputs, and financial reporting
• Maintain professional communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Lead or support project meetings, prepare agendas, document meeting minutes, and ensure timely follow-up
• Assist in managing project closeout activities, including documentation, punch list coordination, and turnover requirements
