Job Description
Saronic Technologies is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to integrate, deploy, and improve autonomous systems in real-world environments. This role combines software development, field deployment, and problem-solving to ensure reliable performance and mission impact. You will work directly with operators and end-users, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product capabilities.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering skills
- Background in robotics, autonomy, or embedded systems
- Understanding of networking protocols and distributed systems
- Experience working with sensors such as cameras, radar, GPS, and IMUs
- Ability to diagnose and debug complex systems
- Ability to work in dynamic environments
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
- Experience developing autonomy software for real-world robotic systems
