Scentbird is seeking a Director of Financial Systems to lead the strategy, architecture, and integration roadmaps for its financial technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on NetSuite as its core ERP platform. This senior leadership role drives high-impact improvements in financial operations efficiency, data integrity, automation, and scalability to support rapid business growth in its subscription-based e-commerce model.
Requirements
- Define and execute the long-term strategy, architecture, and integration roadmaps for financial systems, prioritizing NetSuite enhancements to support evolving business needs
- Oversee NetSuite governance, including role-based access controls, segregation of duties, audit trails, change management, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX readiness, data privacy standards)
- Lead the financial systems team in system configuration, upgrades, customizations, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization to ensure reliability, performance, and security
- Manage integrations between NetSuite and other platforms (e.g., e-commerce, CRM, payment gateways, inventory, analytics tools) to enable end-to-end process automation and real-time data flow
- Establish and enforce internal controls, data integrity standards, security protocols, and monitoring processes to mitigate risks and support audit readiness
- Collaborate with Finance leadership on financial reporting, process automation, and analytics initiatives using NetSuite tools like SuiteAnalytics, Saved Searches, and SuiteScripts
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation, process re-engineering, and technology adoption to reduce manual effort and enhance accuracy
- Provide strategic guidance on financial systems projects, vendor management, budgeting for system initiatives, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment
