As a buyer, responsibilities may include development and implementation of a regional purchasing strategy, planning and tracking of budgetary prerequisites, analysis of purchasing volume, generation of procurement strategies, and risk management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent related field.
- 2+ years of Purchasing (or other relevant) experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with purchasing and negotiations & working in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in engineering technologies (Automation, Assembly Integration, Machines & Test Equipment).
- Capable of managing complex projects under pressure, while meeting due dates, & targets.
