Job Description
We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to work with the RESL Engineering team in Canadian Banking. The successful candidate will work closely with the product owner and business analysts to understand the business functions and requirements. The applicant should have excellent problem-solving skills and ability to review the requirements or stories and define and develop the test strategies, automation frameworks, and support defect management in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- University or College Degree or equivalent experience in IT
- 5+ years of QA lead experience
- 4+ years of automation skills in VB script, Java (Selenium)
- 3+ years of API automation
- Experience with Playwright test framework, and GitHub Copilot is ideal
- Working knowledge with Java, JavaScript, and Python and other scripting languages
- Knowledge of testing background in the Canadian financial services industry
- Transfers knowledge and provide guidance to support business objectives.
