Job Description
The Operating Room Nurse (OR & PACU) is responsible for protecting patient well-being, providing surgical support, and assisting with pre-, intra-, and post-op procedures. This role involves daily routine, time in surgical and PACU duties, and adherence to established protocols. The position emphasizes both clinical and administrative aspects. Management reserves the right to modify assignments and offer accommodations.
Requirements
- College degree in nursing
- One year experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)
- Current RN license (or work permit)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Kansas
- Active BLS and ACLS/PALS certifications required or within 6 months
- TNCC or NRP certification is preferred
