Machinist II, 2nd Shift

Role Overview

Sets up and operates machines and machining centers to fabricate parts, fits and assembles machined parts into complete units, and performs routine preventative maintenance on machines.

What You Will Do

Verifies conformance of processes or work piece to specifications, measures and marks dimensions, selects and secures holding fixtures, starts and observes machine operation, and performs routine preventative maintenance.

Requires high school diploma or equivalent, one year of related experience, and ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One year of related experience and/or training
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
• Ability and understanding of various measuring devices
• Good verbal and written communication skills
