Mold Technician

The Mold Technician A will perform duties such as setting up injection molds, auxiliary equipment, minor maintenance, safety checks on equipment, and troubleshooting as needed.

Requirements

• Work safely and efficiently
• Follow pre-defined press schedule for job-specific requirements
• Sets-up production molding jobs, including Mold setting, Process documents, Materials, and Auxiliary equipment
• Gather all process data, job information and enters into injection molding machine and auxiliary equipment and starts production job
• Handle raw material
• Verify product meets customer and quality requirements, perform trouble shooting when necessary
• Perform routine minor equipment maintenance and safety checks on molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Participate in WD training programs.
• Participate in plant-wide safety efforts.
• Provide plant-wide support.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds and stand/walk for entire shift duration (12 hours)
• Strong communication & organizational skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
