The Mold Technician A will perform duties such as setting up injection molds, auxiliary equipment, minor maintenance, safety checks on equipment, and troubleshooting as needed.
Requirements
- Work safely and efficiently
- Follow pre-defined press schedule for job-specific requirements
- Sets-up production molding jobs, including Mold setting, Process documents, Materials, and Auxiliary equipment
- Gather all process data, job information and enters into injection molding machine and auxiliary equipment and starts production job
- Handle raw material
- Verify product meets customer and quality requirements, perform trouble shooting when necessary
- Perform routine minor equipment maintenance and safety checks on molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Participate in WD training programs.
- Participate in plant-wide safety efforts.
- Provide plant-wide support.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds and stand/walk for entire shift duration (12 hours)
