Perform a wide variety of duties to assemble converting machinery, components, & prototype equipment to meet established and/or customer specifications and other assigned requirements. Plan and perform electrical assembly requirements, wire and troubleshoot electrical panels and components, and direct and assist others in electrical installations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 10+ years of related working experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of CE, NEC and NFPA standards
- Ability to understand manufacturing mechanical and electrical concepts such as machine/parts design, material structure, manufacturability and technical documentation
- Understanding of machining, fabricating and assembly techniques and Bag Machine functions
- Ability to work well with other departments
- Team and customer service oriented a must
- Flexibility and initiative to effectively perform multiple duties daily
- Strong problem solving skills and initiative
- Ability to travel to other APS locations as needed
