Sr. Packaging Application Center Design Engineer

Sealed Air is seeking a Sr. Packaging Application Center Design Engineer to support the Sales organization by designing, testing, and validating custom protective packaging solutions for customers across the United States. The role involves blending advanced CAD design, hands-on prototyping and testing, and customer-facing technical collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Design degree
• 3+ years of experience in packaging engineering or a closely related field
• Protective packaging experience focused on damage reduction
• Corrugated packaging experience with demonstrated ability to design protective structures
• 3D CAD proficiency - Rhino, SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds for handling customer products and test samples
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with sales account managers
