
Job description
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to strengthen our engineering team at our Traction Power Systems site in Prague. The goal is to deliver a solution that is technically correct, manufacturable, and ready for implementation. Projects are typically smaller in scope, tailored to specific customer requirements, and focused on configuration and engineering changes of existing solutions.
Design mechanical parts and assemblies using 3D CAD (SolidWorks), create manufacturing and assembly documentation, adapt and configure existing mechanical solutions for customer projects, and maintain and manage technical data in ERP system (Oracle).
We are looking for someone with a high school or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 3 years of experience in mechanical design/engineering, and a solid understanding of mechanical design principles. Strong experience with 3D CAD systems (SolidWorks preferred) and ability to work independently are also required.
