Powder Packaging Operator

Select Milk Producers is a progressive dairy cooperative seeking a Powder Packaging Operator to maintain proper packaging of dry product in 25kg bags and totes. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in a similar role.

Requirements

• Fill, stack, and account for inventory of 25kg bags and totes
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products
• Label and change sample bags on auto sampler
• Monitor production line for problems and report to supervisor
• Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material
• Maintain cleanliness of packaging room and equipment
• Follow safety, work, and GMP rules
• Support continuous improvement efforts
