Underwriting Servicing Representative

Underwriting Service Representative supports Semsee's Market Access team by providing quality service to agent clients, assisting with new business submissions, and preparing quotes/proposals. They review submissions for completeness and accuracy, create electronic files, and work directly with Retail Agents to collect state-specific E&S forms. They prepare binders, quotes, and endorsements, and work closely with underwriters to ensure timely and accurate policy management activities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Commercial Property/Casualty Insurance at a retail or wholesale agency
• Demonstrated knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work meticulously and accurately within established guidelines
• Technologically savvy and data-driven
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• A team player with great interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with team members and external stakeholders
• Experience in excess and surplus lines, a plus
