Strategic Sourcing Manager - Indirect Purchasing

Reporting to the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, the Strategic Sourcing Manager executes end-to-end purchasing activities for indirect goods and services, including strategic sourcing, analysis, negotiations, and contract management. The position will also support capital equipment procurement and manage vendors in North America.

Requirements

• Collaborate with internal business units to identify needs and objectives to recommend suppliers capable of providing goods and services that meet requirements.
• Support capital expenditure (Capex) sourcing activities including technical RFQs, equipment vendor negotiations, and coordination with engineering and operations stakeholders.
• Invite, assess, and award/recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals.
• Negotiate with vendors to arrive at the appropriate specifications and optimal value Structures evaluation criteria to ensure an equitable and consistent approach when selecting preferred vendors.
• Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions, and maintain supplier relationships.
• Renewal contract negotiation – track contracts for renewals and expiries in advance to formulate appropriate supplier engagement strategies.
• Total cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis.
• Comply with and maintain knowledge of applicable rules, legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices.
