Lean Engineer

The Lean Engineer is responsible for deploying lean manufacturing methodology and implementing the culture of continuous improvement to improve overall safety, quality, on-time delivery, and productivity of the site(s).

Requirements

• Collaborate on process mapping, intensification of money saving projects, detection of opportunities for improvement in the areas of manufacturing processes
• Maintain relationships with operation business unit and function department leaders to understand business objectives and priorities, and develop process improvement initiatives collaboratively
• Act as a catalyst for the sharing and implementation of best practices across all business units
• Communicate/train Lean Manufacturing approaches to the teams with the intent of propagating and defect analysis philosophy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
