The Manufacturing Engineer at Dynapower evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applies knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; and confers with equipment vendors.
Requirements
- Implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacturing or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies
- Collaborates with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products
- Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines
- Organizes records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations
- Key participant in planning and designing manufacturing processes in an industrial plant
- Organizes the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations such as machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding and brazing, assembly, and material handling
